a month ago, LG and PRADA have announced the collaboration to develop
the new LG PRADA 3.0, and today, LG has announced the luxurious phone in
Singapore. The smartphone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and pre-orders
will begin tomorrow.
The LG PRADA 3.0 features the company's proprietary NOVA display technology on its 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen that boasts 800 nit brightness. Powered by 1GHz dual-core processor, the phone features various PRADA signature design including the Saffiano pattern rear cover, the black and white user interface as well as the limited edition wallpapers. Opening the rear cover reveals the SIM and microSD card slots and the 3.7V 1540mAh Lithium-ion battery. At the top are the power and camera buttons, 3.5mm audio jack as well as the microUSB connector for power charging and file transfer. According to LG, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be available to the phone in Q2 this year. The PRADA phone by LG 3.0 will retail at S$1,088 without contract and available from February.
Preorders and sales information will be also be released by all three telco operators on their website from tomorrow, 7 January. Customers who pre-order the phone from the three telco operators will receive a limited edition PRADA-branded phone cradle worth S$228 (while stocks last). LG will also hold a one-day-only sale on 21 January at their LG Live Store in Marina Bay Sands, and for those who purchase the phone at its retail price (without contract) would also receive the limited edition PRADA-branded phone cradle.
